About Cratejet

Cratejet is a peer-to-peer marketplace for things that are cheaper, or only available, in another country. Buyers post what they want, travelers with spare luggage space offer to bring it, and local shops and individuals list items for sale.

What Cratejet does

A buyer posts a request for an item, or buys something a seller has already listed. Travelers flying the right route bid a price in chat, and the buyer accepts the offer that suits them. Every order then runs through escrow: the item is handed over, a one-time code from the buyer confirms delivery, and the buyer releases the funds. The step-by-step guide covers each side.

Around that, Cratejet gives people the information to decide: a trust score on every member, a customs duty estimator for goods coming into India, and a price comparison tool.

Who runs Cratejet

Cratejet is a product of Zelicra Technologies Private Limited, a private limited company incorporated in India and based in Kochi, Kerala. Its D-U-N-S number is 307789374. The company's website is zelicra.com.

Where things stand today

Cratejet is at an early stage. Posting requests and listings, listing trips, bidding in chat, orders with escrow status, the delivery code and disputes all work today.

Online payments are not live yet. No payment gateway is connected, so no card or UPI payment is taken through Cratejet. The FAQ explains what that means for an order.
